Eglinton Primary School

Eglinton Primary School, located in the village of Eglinton, County Londonderry, underwent a significant redevelopment to provide a new £3 million school replacing the original 1950s building.

Emphasizing environmental sustainability, the building incorporates ground source heat pumps, photovoltaic panels on the roof and grey water recycling.  These features not only reduce the school's carbon footprint but also serve as educational tools for students to learn about renewable energy.

The redevelopment of Eglinton Primary School has provided a modern, well equipped educational environment for over 230 pupils.
